Irazú and more...

Today we went to the Irazú Volcano National Park, and it was gorgeous! When we first got there, there was a cloud at the top, so we couldn't see much, but it cleared out quickly!

Before it cleared we were all chilly!
But the ground was warm!

Amazing views!

Dr. Rinner and me.

Victoria X2!

Off to lunch!

Our lunch was a traditional Costa Rican meal. We had rice, beans, tortilla chips, tortilla shells, plantains, and our choice of meat. The meal was delicious, and so were the juices we got to try!

At the end of our day we stopped at a church in the center of Cartago. Every year on August 1 (or sometime close) people walk from miles away to pray to the Virgin Mary and give her offerings.

Our very last stop was the hotel! It's beautiful! Brittany and I have our own little cabin!
